Organic products are products designed with the specific purpose of causing as little effect on the Earth as possible.
In this day and age of pollution, overuse of land for growing plants, and rapid resource consumption, purchasing organic products contributes to protecting our environment. After all, we should treat the planet with which we are blessed with respect, caring for it as stewards. When you purchase organic, you are doing your part! What kinds of materials are used in organic products and why? TOP
Some common organic materials are organic cotton, bamboo, bamboo fabric, and hemp. - Organic cotton is an extremely breathable cotton grown without the use of harmful pesticides. Because it is processed as earth friendly as possible, organic cotton does not prematurely age.
- Bamboo is a natural, renewable resource that grows very quickly and does not require fertilizers or pesticides. Bamboo fabric is naturally antimicrobial, and is wearable by those with skin sensitivity.
- Hemp is a natural resource that is grown without the use of herbicides or pesticides. Hemp fabric is three times stronger than cotton of the same weight, plus extremely durable, absorbent, and warm.
Do you have other suggestions for living eco-friendly? TOP
- It's okay to start small, perhaps by eating and cooking with organic vegetables!
- Buy locally when possible, as natural food stores can be very expensive
- Growing your own organic vegetables can be rewarding, as well as environmentally sound.
- Turn out lights and unplug electronic devices when not in use.
- Purchase a re-usable water bottle and refill with filtered water from home.
- Disposable water bottles waste water, not to mention the wasted gas and energy in transporting them to the stores
- Disposable water bottles use plastic, which is wasted when they are thrown out.
- When you replace old appliances, choose energy efficient appliances.
Does Posh Organic support any environmental or children causes? TOP
We do live as eco-friendly as possible, thus contributing to protecting our environment. At this time, we are not currently monetarily supporting any causes; however, we are planning to donate 1% of all of our sales this year to the Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome Foundation. We have actually experienced a loss with twins on January 9, 2003 due to twin to twin transfusion after 32 weeks of pregnancy. This foundation is close to our hearts, and I cannot wait to give a percentage of our sales to help other parents that are going through a similar experience and need help. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover, using your choice of a secure server or Paypal. What type of shipping service do you use? TOP
Our standard shipping method is USPS Priority Mail for smaller items. However, some of our products do ship out directly from the manufacturer, in which UPS, USPS, FedEx, or DHL may be used. Why did parts of my order arrive separately? TOP
Many of our items are stored in our own warehouse, while others are shipped directly from the manufacturer. For quickest shipping, your order may arrive separately. If there is any delay with any part of your order, we will contact you directly. Do you guarantee the quality of your products? TOP

Kentucky residents will be charged a 6% sales tax. There are no sales tax for shipments going to other states. Does Posh Organic ship outside the United States? TOP
At this time, Posh Organic does not offer shipping for items outside the United States. We will be looking for cost efficient methods to ship to Canada, and eventually worldwide, in the near future, so please keep checking back for more information!
